Рассматривается деятельность ведущего научного учреждения экономического профиля страны - Института экономики НАН Беларуси. Показаны основные направления работы института, представлены наиболее значимые научные разработки фундаментального и прикладного характера, выполненные в последнее время. Особое внимание уделено рассмотрению участия института в экспертно-аналитическом сопровождении органов государственного управления Беларуси по вопросам формирования и реализации экономической политики и научном обеспечении социально-экономического развития страны.

Institute of Economy of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus is a leading scientific establishment in the economic field of the country. It's activities have been considered in the article. Main directions of the Institute's work have been shown. Most important scientific fundamental and applied developments of recent time have been presented. Special attention has been given to consideration of Institute's participation in expert and analytical maintenance of state authorities of the Republic of Belarus. It concerns to problems of economical politics forming and realization and scientific provision for the social and economical development of Belarus.
