Рассматриваются вопросы становления Sonata da chiesa как жанра и формы итальянской инструментальной музыки XVII -начала XVIII века. Основное внимание уделяется процессам формообразования. На основе аналитических наблюдений над сочинениями М. Нери, А. Бертали, А. Корелли, Ф. М. Верачини и др. выявляются основные этапы развития цикла da chiesa: ранняя канцона-соната ^ типовая кореллиевская модель ^ ее адаптация в условиях других жанров. Делается вывод о значении Sonata da chiesa в творчестве выдающихся композиторов эпохи барокко - Дж. Б. и Т. Витали, А. Корелли, Г. Пёрселла, Ф. Куперена, Г. Бибе-ра, Д. Букстехуде, И. С. Баха, Г. Ф. Генделя и др.
Issues of establishing Sonata da chiesa as a genre and form of the Italian instrumental music of XVII and beginning of XVIII centuries have been considered in the article. Main focus is put on processes of its formation. Following steps in the development of da chiesa cyclic form have been provided: • early canzona sonata; • typical Corelli's model; • its adaptations to other genres. Also the author of the article makes conclusions about the role of Sonata da chiesa in works of most eminent Baroque composers including G.B. Vitali, T. A. Vitali, A. Corelli, H. Purcell, F. Couperin, H.I.F. von Biber, D. Buxtehude, J.S. Bach, G.F. Handel, and others.
