Показана история социологии, ее роль в жизни белорусского общества, проанализированы основные задачи, которые должны решать академические социологи в условиях инноваций и кризисов, рисков и турбулентности, бифуркации и неопределенности.

History of sociology and role of sociology in the Belarusian society life have been shown in the article. Main tasks which academician sociology must to solve in conditions of innovation and crisis, risks and turbulence of bifurcation along with uncertainty have been analyzed herein. Key points of the article are: the Republic of Belarus, sociology, public opinion, sociological questionnaires, history, innovations, prospects.
