PARTISAN MOVEMENT IN WESTERN BELARUS IN THE EARLY 1920s: STATE AND PROSPECTS OF THE STUDY

Abstract

Guerrilla struggle of the Belarusian people against the Polish occupation after the Polish-Soviet War aroused great interest in the company and is reflected in the pages of periodicals and scientific publications. However, the subject has not acquired a thorough case study that requires its historiographical reflection and discovery of scientific-theoretical bases of source and the objective to create a monographic study. In the article the basic scientific and methodological development of indicators of national historiography history of the guerrilla movement in Western Belarus in the first half of the 1920s. Based on a wide range of historiographical and archival sources identified the stages in the development of the issue of historiography, the main approaches to the study of the history of guerrilla warfare, the formulation and evaluation of the various trends of the partisan movement, concluded that there was scientific-theoretical and source base for the monographic study of the topic.
