THE TYPOLOGICAL TRANSFORMATION OF THE BELARUSIAN EVENING NEWSPAPERS

Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the position of the modern evening press in the system of mass media of the Republic of Belarus. The evening press of Belarus is investigated for the first time. The reasons and the consequences of the typological transformation of evening newspapers are analyzed. The analysis is based on methodological workings out of well-known Russian researchers in the field of journalism –
A. Akopov and V. Tulupov. It is proved, that the Belarusian evening newspapers have remained as a type in spite of the fact that they have lost the generating feature – the time of printing. The similarity and the difference between modern Belarusian evening newspapers and such a perspective type of editions as qualoid are revealed.
The author offers the concepts of the development of the Belarusian evening press. The results of research may find application in practice both the Belarusian and foreign editions.
