History of research of the sites of Kudlaivka culture on the territory of Belarus

Abstract

The article considers issues related to the development of scientific views on the Mesolithic Kudlaivka culture. In the history of the study of the sites of Kudlaivka culture on the territory of Belarus, four stages can be distinguished, each of which characterizes the state of research, and reflects different scientific approaches to the studied issues. The first stage: 1870s – to the mid – 1920s; the second stage: from the mid – 1920s to the early 1960s; the third stage: from the early 1960s to the mid – 1990s; the fourth stage: from the second part of 1990s and continues to the present day.
