Russia's joining WTO and its impact to Belarusian local economics

Abstract

Existing methodical approaches to an assessment of a regional component of social and economic consequences for national economy from its joining to WTO have been analyzed. Assessment of consequences making expediency on the basis of factors which define territorial distribution of tariff policy change effects inequality at national level has been shown for Belarusian localities. Application of cluster approach to regional policy and implementation of a package of measures to ensure interregional mobility of labor have been suggested along with measures directed to negative influence on regional economy of Belarus by partner countries on EEA entry into WTO reduction.
